Past Issues

Issues from our childhood have a profound affect upon how we
are as an adult. During our childhood, most of us have experienced events and emotions that we did not know how to deal with at the time. Something that an adult might find mildly unpleasant, can be emotionally horrendous for a child, causing the mind to repress
the emotion.

The emotion attached to the childhood event remains in adulthood, lurking in the subconscious, giving rise to a wide range of symptoms such as lack of confidence and low self esteem/self worth, general anxiety states, anger, guilt, shame as well as many fears & phobias.

This form of therapy can also be very successful with very disturbing and traumatic childhood events such as emotional,
sexual or physical abuse.
