Hypnotherapy

A skilled hypnotherapist utlises the relaxed state of hypnosis to effect lasting change using two main forms of therapy

SUGGESTION THERAPY
During hypnosis positively worded suggestions are made. These take route in the subconscious mind and are acted upon instinctively. Suggestion therapy is mainly used for habits such as smoking, nail-biting and minor weight loss. It is also useful for other things such as confidence boosting, concentration, fears, goal achievement, public speaking and overcoming stress.

ANALYTICAL THERAPY
Is used in therapy to discover the underlying cause of the presenting symptom. Once the
cause has been identified and worked through, the symptom becomes redundant, bringing
about a complete and lasting release. This is mainly used for things such as compulsions,
phobias, speech problems, depression, inferiority complexes and many more.

Mark has also trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT),
two techniques that he often uses to complement and enhance the therapeutic process. These techniques often ensure that success can be achieved in a quicker and more effective manner.
